You can keep an eye out for the Revelation/Yari as well. Currents Revs and older Yari's use the Pike chassis with the motion control damper. The newer Yari's are on the Lyric chassis (thicker stanchion tubing) so that may be a better option as well.
Please remember Primo is a large guy almost 3 bills. Don't sway him towards a noodle. X fusion for me again at just over 200 lbs was considerably more noodles. The crown is far thinner, I agree its more supple and smooth but for a big guy I would not recommend. Not one bit.
Maybe if you get into the burlier fusions such as metric etc, but again. Parts availability and serviceability. No one can touch a RS product. I’d do a Fox 36 but the parts are far more of a bitch to get ahold of quickly

Noodle at 160mm -
Big time or over 160... lbs that izzz
I dunno, I don't notice much flex in my Slant, and I'm sittin at 215 give or take 3, plus a pack. Definitely stiffer than the Revelation with 20mm axle that was on it before, and maybe only a little less stiff than my Vengeance.
