Thanks! :-)
No, still 2018, like the rest of the XTR braking system.

I'm the same height and I'm running 460 on the hardtail (PP Oka).
I've also got a Mondraker full squish bike, which has 483mm of reach.
I run both with a 50mm stem and fairly narrow bars at 740mm.

At our height I cannot imagine to be able to ride a 160mm travel 29er with even more reach efficiently. But everyone is different, I guess.

I'm 6'3" and have a Smuggler with 483mm reach that I run a 50mm stem on and my HT has a reach of over 500mm which I run a 35mm stem on. Both bikes feel great reach wise and I don't think I'd want any longer.
For a 5'11" rider 510mm reach sounds huge to me.

Just wondering what reach everyone is running in comparison to height?
Gona order my new frame soon and cant decide if I should go extreme or not.
Looking a either 480 or a 510 reach on a 160 travel 29er for myself who is 5ft11.
Kinda want something in the middle as 480 doesnt seem the push I would like to feel a difference from my current ride.
But 510 might be too much.

Cheers

I am 6'0,6" (184cm) and ride a 510 reach (76°STA) 160mm 29er with only good things to say. I run a 31mm stem and 750mm bars with very little rise (just ordered new bars with more rise to test). When I ordered the frame thought it would be extreme, but the riding position is perfect to me (climbing and descending). I need to be fitness because the bike demands a lot of effort but comfort and speed increase are worth it

I finally did it, and convert my full suspension into a hardtail

From my full suspension, I took the wheels, Pike rct3 160mm, crank/chainring/pedals, derailleur/shifter, stem, handelbar and grips.

Bought a small Dartmoor Hornet frame, and few brand new parts :
-Cassette Sunrace MX3 11-40
-Shimano XT chain
-Magura MT7 brakes with 203 mm Shimano Icetech rotors fr/rr
-Headset
-Bottom bracket
And took the dropper post (KS Eten) from my fatbike

Before

After : I know, it's dirty, and I'm going to shorten the brakes hoses soon

Sunrace cassette is shit, with theses CLUNG noises everytime I change gear, and finally put the old XT 11-42 (42T one up) from my other bike. Hope Pro 4 rear hub was ok on my full suspensions, but feel shitty on the hardtail, there is a serious lack of drivering points which is felt much more on the hardtail than on the FS. Really need to upgrade that to enjoy the bike
