Here's my aggro HT, running 160mm Yari and 10 speed for the short mech. What do people think (I realise the white rims are a bit marmite)?
Cotic BFe long shot Side medium 160mm fork
Cotic BFe long shot Side medium 160mm fork
Cotic BFe long shot Side medium 160mm fork
Cotic BFe long shot Side medium 160mm fork

That is sweet. Super '90s colors but in a good way.

Cheers! Bringing it back.. lol

My all mtn ripper.

2018 Nukeproof Scout frame
160/130mm Lyrik dual position
170mm OneUp Dropper
Deity 800mm bars
XT groupset, 32t 11-42
27.5 2.6 DHF front and rear(gonna throw on some new ones this week)
Nukeproof Horizon rims(pretty much the only thing i need to upgrade but these are nearly bombproof albeit a bit on the heavy side)

This bike handles anything I throw at it

The HR II on the rear isn't new, but I do have a new DHF 2.4 waiting in the wings..Smile

Ive had great luck with the DHF on the front and rear, I run 2.3's on wide rims on one my MK1 and 2.5's on 30 mm rims on my mk2.... I don't think they offer a 2.4 in 27.5 but would be a nice option.

I wonder why they make a 2.4 for the 29's and not the 27.5..?

If you measure DHFs, they're actually smaller for some reason. My 2.6s are actually like 2.5~, and 2.5s are like 2.4s~. So they actually do make a 2.4 haha Wink

Maxxis finally answered this last year or the year before. They measure they're stuff at max psi. So put them on an average rim and max em out and technically they should be closer to their stated width.

Nobody in history runs DHFs at max psi though haha

Most Maxxis do come up thinner unless you follow their 'for best results' guidance.

You basically need to pump to max permissable pressure and leave for 24 hours to stretch the tyre out, then reduce pressure to suit riding conditions.
