Love the paint finish on that 'Mag tup

Marino have been sending me updates - naked finished frame:

Marino ready for painting

Couldn't do the colour I originally wanted but reasonably happy with the alternative I've chosen and should still work with the rest of the build that I've already bought.

Looking sweet mate! I’ve ridden mine a few times now, can’t express how happy I am and how f f fast it is Big Grin

Looking to run 27.5 out back, and picked up a sunringle duroc 40.

Looking to use a wtb ranger but unsure to go 2.8 or 3.0.

Has anyone had one of these tyres? Do they come up small?

Thanks

Not tried the plus version but for what it's worth I have just fitted a 29x2.4 Ranger onto a 29mm rim and I'd say it looks pretty much true to size.

I never ran plus tyres, but generally WTB tyres are true to their size.

So I've been lurking in this thread for the last couple of years, gleaning information from you wizards. Over the last couple years I rode some budget bike to get an idea of a good frame geometry for me. I finally built my dream bike over the last few months and here it is! I know it's not the sexiest out the there, but it's the best can afford on a family mans budget. Thank you all for the education and knowledge!
