I've tried a lot of different forks, and I just keep coming back to rockshox. Lyik/yari/pike/revelation can all be lowered to 120mm with the right air shaft. Easy to work on. Only downside I can think of is damping range is always on the softer side, so riders who prefer a highly damped fork should look elsewhere.

Dumyat is cool, fairly small, can make it into a decent 17km or so loop but Scotland is jam packed. If you ever make it here give me a shout!
