Hell of a bike. Love that ragleys, Looks great even in XL. Thats rare. Nice choice of components imo. Would Take it as it ist, Just a size smaller. Pretty Sure my next Bike ist going top be a ragley or a cotic.

How ist the Microshift Feeling?

Thanks! I'm pretty pleased with how it came out. I tried to put my limited funds into the important stuff.

I like the mircoshift a lot, it seems much crisper than the NX 12 speed that I have on my other ride and I like not having to pound through 2-3 gears every time I shift in either direction. I though I was going to miss the 50 tooth granny gear but I don't seem to at all. Would recommend.

Super nice Ragley, love the way that 210mm dropper fits perfect leaving no wasted vert.

When it comes to biking i am a huge fan of inexpensive components. In my short period of biking i figured out, that high priced components are not in particular much better. It may depend when you are maybe riding like really a lot. Just about forks, i dont know much. But i read that the marzocchi should be great!

Thank you, I was a little worried I wasn't going to be able to be able to get the post to sit all the way down in, but it fits like the bike was made for it.

My though was to save some dough on the consumable parts and get the most robust things that I plan to hold onto for awhile. I'm really digging the fork, I originally ordered it with an extra firm spring because I'm right between the firm and extra firm based on my weight, but it was a bit "extra" firm. New spring really made it feel like a coil is "supposed" to feel and I'm not blowing through all of the travel, it's a win-win.

I am pretty impressed with my Oneup dropper so far, it was used when I got it and is hanging in there really good, much smoother than my Bikeyoke and my Fox as well.

+1 on oneup.
I have 4 of them, all 210 drop. All of them work great.

I realize this is the aggressive hardtail thread, figured this is aggressive enough for an 8 year old. I may go mullet and throw a 26 up front

Luv your Ragley man, build spec is up to snuff (nothing I see I would change). How do you like the Z1? Does it live up to all the hype?
Too bad one up doesn't make a externally routed, 27.2mm version, for me franken build... The more i ride, the more i'm wanting a dropper... Even thou i dropped pretty penny on a thompson elite seatpost, being able to switch out between rigid and dropper posts is a nice option. Oh well, make due for now.
Anyway,
Lovely bike dude Beer .

Thanks guys, I'm pretty pleased with how it all came together. This is my first frame up build and I gotta make it last so I tried to get decent bits. Definitely can't say enough good things about the oneup dropper, I've go the 170mm version on my other bike and I don't think I could ride a bike without a dropper post anymore, they're my favorite thing about new bikes.

I'm liking the fork a ton so far, don't really have anything to compare it too since it's my first "real" fork. I can say it's real comfy in the first part of the travel, soaks up high speed bumpy stuff really well (the whole bike has allowed me to be a lot less concerned about hitting rocky sections at speed) but it's still nice and supportive and doesn't blow through it's travel. I actually don't think I've come real close to bottoming it out yet, I'm not a big jumper but 3' drops at speed at 200lb don't use all of the travel. 2 enthusiastic thumbs up.

Not sure this qualifies as aggressive with 66.5 degree HTA, but thought I'd throw it up here

Personally even by today's standards I would consider 66.5 to be on the aggressive side of things.
