After many months of waiting I got my Marino! It is a mix of new parts and some that were just laying around. I love this build. It's such a sensible build that prioritize all the right things. I bet this build wwas under 1700. And those 50mm riser bars look awesome. Let us know how it rides and report back with some pics on the trail

Whoa awesome build! And I didn't know Suntour made AION cranks.
Given that the HELM lets you adjust travel easily, I'd say experiment. haha. Initially wanted a HELM for that particular reason, but couldn't afford it
I bought the Helm used for $300 from a friend! He only used it a few times and then bought a Fox 38. I had it on my Kona Process for a little while while I waited for the Marino frame. It will be another month or so until I can really test the bike out, still recovering from knee surgery

Damn. Good deal. haha Hoping you heal fast from your knee surgery. Riding your Marino would be the best knee rehab

Thanks! I like thinking about all the little details. Especially random purple bits.
