awkward compliment, but one's gotta take what they can...

the idea was to dry brush a little gold patina to the rims, but they turned out way too golden. so i sprayed some copper, bronze and black over it - too dark. drybrushed another layer of gold, an clear varnished over all that.

I ride a RSD Middlechild and I think it's a perfect bike for someone wanting a hardtail for a jibby trail/jump bike. Maybe you could call it the hardtail equivalent of the Santa Cruz 5010? Here's a video review I made of the bike a couple months ago. Anyone else on this frame?

Yesterday's ride , chasing Doctahawk on our local goods...4,000 ft. vert rugged descent. shaky hero 1 footage.

Starts out super steep loose and chunky... awesome ridge lines then some more steeps and awesome ridge lines , some high speed flow in the middle then some techy canyon riding... edited out climbing sections and traversing..
