I just built this sucker up, but been sick as a dog ever since so only ridden her twice. Sensational frame.

Didn't post in the "rate the bike above you thread" as i reckon I would lose points for my mahoosive 44t ring and my M395 brakes. I also don't think the clashing colour scheme would rate too well either.
Got some 810mm bars on the way and am going 2x9 or 2x10, budget dependant, soon.

This is the bike i ride most time.... for some reason in the most situations its way more fun to ride than my sus-bikes.
Wow id like to see a scale pic of that, pretty amazing. I really like those frames.

True, I'd rather guess it's weight around 11,0kg. Could be wrong tho. But still, damn that bike is hot!

First post! Big Grin

First off, this thread is awesome and I'm glad I stumbled across it. There's some serious bike porn going on here!!
Secondly, I suppose I should post some pics of my ride. It's an Identiti Dr Jekyll. I've built it up from nothing, the spec as it stands is;

Dr Jekyll frame
Cane Creek Tank Hit headset
El Gallo 780mm bars
Deore brakes F&R (203mm front disc, 160mm rear)
XT rear mech
Truvativ Hussefelt cranks
DMR V12 pedals
MRP chain device
Marzocchi 150mm travel forks with 20mm Maxel
Halo SAS front wheel
Halo Combat rear wheel
90mm specialised stem
Maxxis Minion 2.35 Super Tacky front tyre
Maxxis High Roller 2.35 rear tyre

This bike gets used and abused. I've not been riding long and I'm already hitting black trails on it, needless to say it takes a lot of punishment from misjudged jumps and an over-ambitious rider Wink

Let me know what you think.

Damn, how do you ride a bike that agressive with a stem that long?

sweet old(ish)school freeride hardtail.

I'm 6'5", my options are limited. I had a dangerboy howitzer stem on there for a while but I could change gear with my knees!

Hi guys. This is my NS Surge Evo 2014 which is mainly built from existing spare parts. Even though I was not a HT fan this bike is really fun to ride!

Got a new bar n stem. Went with Easton 35's, had to match the post and Thomson Dh bar was a bit to flat. Looks stout.

Sweet Surge.

Here's mine after switching to a Minion DHRII rear. First impression are positive, setting up tubeless was a walk in the park, +20g on declared weight, nice and wide, rolling fast enough, braking traction is crazy.

Can't wait to really put this tire to the test.

I've found my 2.5 DH tyres to rub the seat stays when the wheel flexes, lost a bit of paint inside the stays too. Bit concerned as I've seen frames break because of this.

Worth keeping an eye on.

Very nice!

I'm interested in the durolux too, some impressions so far? Thanks!

the durolux is a REALLY good working and sturdy fork. TAD works great....
there is only one downside: the weight.
