I like that. Is that one of the original Surges in yellow or is it a re-spray?...Looks great...tup

Edit: thinking its a re-spray as the original yellow Surge had a big gusset in between the top and downtube.

Cheers! It is a 2010 NS Surge with a jazzy yellow respray with sparkles in it Pimp

Certainly wouldn't have been my first choice of colour but I quite like it! New headset, a longer seat post and the stuff to shorten the hoses en route, then well see what she's got. I had a 2012 one for a while and loved it.

I am yet to detect any major "flop" at all in my BFe.
I'm not particularly light and ride the rocky rooty fun stuff on mine.

When I threw hard into berms or pumped transitions the tyre would hit the frame, 2.1 at high pressure too. Shame as the size angles and balance of the frame was spot on
Rode awesome apart from that

Interesting, i haven't had that happening yet even with a Hans Dampf on there.
Will have to wait and see if I can provoke such antics from the frame.
Could swear I remember you having a Soul a while back?

Nah Bfe, as a 4X 'a'ble hard tail, then the Dartmoore phantom for 4X an the El Camino for XC. Now the stanton 4X an the meta SX
Finally settled with those two now Smile
