Had a search couldn't find anything.

Basically, the bolt from my profile racing cranks has reached the end of it's life and I need a new one. I've tried all things I can think of, however can't find anything that'll fit.

Anyone know of a bolt that works?

EDIT: Think I worded badly above, the bolt it need is for holding the sprocket into the crank arm.

Sorry, didn't make my question clear.

Do you use one of them to hold the sprocket onto the crank? (the bolt i need)

Pics.

Appears to be an M8, but it's the length of the bolt/screw that's an issue, when trying to find something in the past. Might just have to get more washers and hope that'll let me get it tight enough to stop the sprocket moving.

Ahhh right,

Profile use a different thread to most other companies (not sure what it is!) Best bet is get down to your LBS and ask if there are any lying about, failing that, try at the local park / trails Smile

I have a Profile Ti bolt for sale if interested. I run splined so I don't use them.

As profile is American company it's an imperial thread not a Metric thread like M8. Cheapest way is to take the bolt (if you don't have a thread gauge) to a nut and bolt supplier and ask them to size it and you'll take 2! (One spare!)

Or try any decent BMX shop who carry profile cranks etc, I think Wiggle do actually or if all else fails speak to Profile Europe who are based in England and they'll have one in stock.

Steve.

(Profile cranks rule!)

Cheers guys, sorry for not being clear. I'll try my local bike store, if no like a bolt manufacture and the profile Europe.

Appreciate it.
