My Elka has been sweet! I had them build me one specifically for me and my riding style for my Blindside and its been awesome! I have hardly touched an adjustment besides rebound. The shock has great initial stroke for small bumps, then really ramps up for big hits. The sound it makes when rebounding is a little different than a Fox or Rock Shox, but thats just how the shock sounds. If you are going to be buying a high end shock, I would look into the Elka, Fox RC4 or the Vivid. I have run all 3 and they are all great, basically I would pick one of those 3 based upon which you can get the best deal on. They are all super adjustable, reliable, and feel great
