Read the OP, it says hes looking at putting it on all systems. So what if it would take alot of money and time? Dont all games? They have to start somewhere, just a small idea like this. And how do you know microsoft or sony wont approve? Have you seen some of the shitty little games they allow on there consoles? Stop trying to be so smart and try to let people down. Tard.
Well, he's not really letting anyone down seeing that the kid obviously isn't going to make the game, is he? He looks 15 to me, Most likely he decided to jump into game development at the deep end, which just doesn't work.
never know, he could do, don't underestimate the small man
trust me, no 15 year old is going to make a game enjoyable, even if he's been programing since he was born. its not happening. those "shitty" little titles were all made by TEAMS of ADULTS.
just give up, you guys are so pathetic with all this hope crap.
I think you could actually have one joystick for turning the bars, and another joystick for leaning the bike/player. So you could have a threshold which mistakes could be made, and if they go out of the threshold they might slide out/highside and crash. And maybe the threshold for mistakes could be made smaller with harder difficulties. It would be hard to replicate realistically but all the games i've played in the past are just too simple when it comes to turning and it ruins the realistic side of the game.
Also, really beautiful visuals usually get people addicted. eg. instead of a crammed dark Forrest make it a beautiful horizon with really attractive visuals. Games like star wars games and crysis do that pretty well as an example.
Hope it all goes well I'd buy any decent game like this if it were priced as equally as the others
not all of us have the skills of darren berrecloth, not all of us have the money to buy a sick bike, not all of us wicked spots to ride and not all of us are going to make it by riding. Thats why people make games, to live out their fantasies and dreams.

Fair enough, but I dunno about you, I'd much rather potter around town on my bike than sit inside tapping buttons all day..
Anyway, can we agree that this kid isn't going to make the game? People seem to think that he's going to make the ultimate game or something

Ah. Well someone shut off this thread before world war III starts again.
make it so you can do tricks like tail whips backflips double back flips front flips supermans superman seat grabs superflips and flipwhips no handers bar hops can cans pelenmium double tailwhips
I was thinking of this exact idea haha, you should make it like skate. But bikes obvs, it should be a free roaming world with secret street spots, hidden trails, dh comps, and skateparks. Story mode you should be able to build your dream, get sponsers and money to upgrade your bike and become the best rider in the world. I would pay like £45-£50 for it!
this is a sick idea, and get all the worlds top mtb parks and brands to be partners with the game like highland and whistler and kona and specialised etc etc.
