Soo feel free to judge mock or flame me but...Im pretty lame when it comes to bikes just starting out.coming off skateboards...
Im going to attempt to build my own custom dj bike ...I've tried googling this...so please dont tell to do that.
Just wondering if someone can give me a list of parts needed to slap one together..

I know the obs frame tires crank but I also know theres a few little ...things that complete it ...tips on brands sizes ect would be helpful.

youll need, frame,wheels,tires,stem,bars,fork,headset,seat,seatpost,pedals,cranks, and if cranks dont come with a bottom bracket youll need that too, grips, break, hubs in wheels dont come with, seat clamp. and i think thats it correct me if i missed any thing

it actually makes a lot more sense to buy a complete. if anyone tells you that stock parts on complete are junk, they are wrong. there are quite a few completes out there that are really well spec'd. just like most things, "custom" means expensive and fun, but not necessarily that much better for most purposes.

Yeahhh I was going to do that but I dont have the 900 to just drop was going to build it up over the next like month an half.. paychecks kinda deal..I dont wanna buy used and have someone elses bs..

well, you'll end up paying double (or more) by the time you finish a custom build.

put those paychecks in savings for a few months.

cmc4130 has a very good point. I can see where you're coming from and it's always nice to get started as soon as possible but if you can put aside some cash and buy a complete, you'll be riding as soon as, if not quicker, than if you were to try to buy it all part by part. You can always look to upgrade in the future Smile

went ahead and decied to start the build haha....and slowy but surely realizing it was a horrible horrible idea...
not thaaat expensive just experince wise prob wasnt the best idea....honestly think it could be fun though Im in no crazy rush ...
ordered a spank smoke white frame..some rock shox dart 3s..and spank lounge handle bars...looking for a crank any suggestions?
