Yep and Lapierre is a high end frame as opposed to Norco which is an average quality bike. Also 2009 falls on bad years for Norco with recalls on frames.

Norco's are reliable but aren't anything special. I would definitely choose the Lappy. The Norco is so expensive for what it is.

Very rare for Lapierre and road gapping you will eventually scrap any bike. Norco has had nothing but problems with frames cracking since 2006 till 2009.

go for the lapierre. It shows you have taste, and not everybody has one. Norco is unreliable from what I have found. But this is just my opinion

I have seen a few cracked Lapierre's though, even the one in the link, the front triangle was replaced on warranty so I'm assuming that was originally cracked.
