well each person who answered your thread said they would choose the lapierre, as it is less money and similarly equipped i think its a good decision
Yep and Lapierre is a high end frame as opposed to Norco which is an average quality bike. Also 2009 falls on bad years for Norco with recalls on frames.
I would personally get the Lapierre , but this doesn't help!

Very rare for Lapierre and road gapping you will eventually scrap any bike. Norco has had nothing but problems with frames cracking since 2006 till 2009.

I have seen a few cracked Lapierre's though, even the one in the link, the front triangle was replaced on warranty so I'm assuming that was originally cracked.
