Can I not upload pictures from my phone? The way you are showing looks like it's from a computer. I found the picture numbers, but when I put them in a different picture appears.

So, this sucks that PINKBIKE is no longer accepting photobucket photo links because they're not "secure."

This pretty much ruins a lot of posts I have done over the years.... Blank Stare

this is the worst process for posting pics on the internet...i don't want a million pics in my profile , simply want to upload from imgur or other forums..

Although now, I realize the blame is due to Photobucket themselves. They're the ones that broke all the links to third parties (and demanded $39/month for a user to re-establish connection their own photo album, which used to be free).

Maybe pinkbike was trying to protect itself from having threads full of broken links.

there has to be a better way..i know of other forums (not bicycle related) that have some pretty stout rules , and they did not go this route.

well, right now it's Photobucket that won't allow a person's photos to be shared to third party websites.

Look at our epic "DJ, Pump Track Plans" thread ruined over on mtbr.com (people have been posting to it since 2008--one of the best resources for knowledge on the topic):

Exactly! I can't currently speak for Pinkbike, however this discussion has been had before. If you use photos posted elsewhere in a blog post and something happens to that site then the blog post is suddenly missing images. Thats not good for you or for the people reading your post.

Go to photos tab at the top and upload photo.
Once uploaded go to Dash tab at the top of the page then my profile then my photos.
Once you click on one of your photos there will be a number at the end of the Web address in the adress bar and copy that number.
Then the pain in the arse part is you have to switch to desktop version (at the very bottom of the page is the link) and upload from there.
