my bike weights about 38 pounds and most of the weight is in the back

I DONT want to buy a new rim
and dont want to run brakeless






any suggestions?

TIRES! Tires can save a ton of weight. if you have really heavy tires and you swap out for some really light ones, you could save 2+ lbs. And its rotational weight so it makes a ton of a difference.

ehh... its possible, post pics, id like to see what you're running spec wise, easiest way to dump weight off that is to get a new frame, fork and cranks(brutally honest here)

new tires rims and fork, cranks and seat/post, then it will be a lot lighter, but i doubt it weighs 38lbs
