nice aggro build right there, for anyone with a float X on their dixon, how many of the volume spacers are you using?

Really fallen out of love with my Dixon.

Out of nowhere have developed a rear brake howl. Shop has done everything to fix it, have gone through 4 different sets of brakes and rotors. Whole sets, not just rotors and pads....

It is also creaking like a bitch during pedalling, have done everything to remove the creak, nothing has worked.

As unlikely as it is, I'm thinking the frame is cracked somewhere.

Anyone else had a similar set of issues?

No brake issues at all but I did have a creaking bottom bracket.
It was just worn out.
Had it replaced and creak was solved.

Any creaking I've had has always been solved by tightening all the pivot locations, although my X01 derailleur will creak a little in the biggest cogs while pedaling too. Is your frame carbon or aluminum? Maybe the brake howl is an acoustic thing with a crack on the chain or seat stay?

They aren't great looking in my opinion, I use 3M 2228 Mastic Tape, you can apply it just on the inside edge of the chainstay where it's needed and makes a much cleaner look. You can see it on the top edge of my chainstay in the picture.

Bb is always first to check for strange sounds!Mine too have some minor creaking sounds but as all above a little tightening or untightenig stops the sounds!dixon is a very fat bike to break!

Just picked one up and have had the same brake issue, I've adjusted the brake caliper and feel like that's helped but seems to come back. It's definitely annoying, haven't had anytime to really look at it.

I've got creaking too but that's coming from my Reverb.

Any luck with yours?

Got to find a bigger fork to put on it too. The 36 seems popular on here, can't find a used 26" Pike at a decent price.
