Here's where i make myself a ledgend by saying i snapped it on a 30 foot plus jump or road gap but the truth is it snapped on a trail!!!

And i hope its under warranty! brought it mid september 2010...and its wasnt cheap!

Faulty or just shite should be warranted unless they are total pricks!

not being funny i spent £3600 on a ''freeride'' bike thats snapped in half on a trail, ive done my foot and ankle in badly, i think getting this fixed under warranty is the least they can do! i dont consider my ride tonight to have been anything that should have remotely tested the frame, im lucky to have walked away fairly unscathed...

I don't think thats fixable it will probably be a whole new rear triangle.

It should be covered under warranty. Some-one I occasionally ride with snapped both of the chain stays on his Session and as far as I know he didn't have any trouble getting Trek to fix it.

i met a guy at northstar who snapped his session 88 frame, both chainstays, clean snap. He said that Trek was super cool about it and sent him the newest frame (he has a 2009 and they sent him a 2010 session) FOR FREE!

hope it works that smooth for you too...

You should have a lifetime warrenty with the frame.
Trek are very good to deal with , you shouldn't have any problems Smile
