Can brake mounts be re-welded back on

my m8 wants to ride brakes but the frame he has has had the brake mounts cut of. so is it hard to get them welded back on.

Yes and no. If the frame was previously heat treated, no.
If your freinds not an expert welder, no. (the brakes have to match up perfectly, a bit more is invovled than just sticking them on)

If your freinds on the weighty side, no. (the re-welded on tabs will never be as strong as before)

Youd be much better off swaping frames with someone who doesnt need the mounts.

it should be ok. we have already taken the frame to a welding place to they have experience in welding. all that needs to welded r the mounts at the back. it should be fine. cheers
