Dear all Djers,

i used to do XC,AM,FR, and DH and now its time for me to try DJ.

my main sport is actually DH but i see that DJ can help me maintain my handling and learn some tricks, which can apply in DH also..

since DJ and 4x is quite similar...i want to build a bike that compatible to use for both..

Here's what i already buy and something that i need you guys opinion to make decision

frame: i already bought KHS SJ300
fork: im in the middle of deciding whether i will use fox 831 or RS Argyle
Hub set: anything in particular i should after to fit both DJ and 4x..??
RIM: any specific feature for DJ and 4x..??
tire: no idea need specific detail (size..?)
Stem: no idea need specific detail
handlebar: no idea need specific detail
grip: no idea need specific detail
seatpost: no idea need specific detail
group set: im planning to use normal free hub so i can put cassette in there for 4x purpose. when i want to play dj, i can also use single gear with spacer to accommodate the normal hub. what do u guys think..??
chain guard: should i...??
breakset: i got my old slx, which should be enough. the question is should i have both break install or just the rear..??

heres my bulk question so far...sorry if its too long...i just want to put everything in 1 thread just in case any new comer want to have a look..

thanks in advance

saddle: no idea

and for tires i would either go with kenda small block 8 or KHE mac 2 dirt but there kinda pricey also small block 8s are not good in rain and mud

but I now realize building a DJ bike from sketch is costly, but I have started it already....so have to go along.

If let me choose again, I would rather buy a completed bike then upgrade the parts.

heard the following bikes are sweet:

Identiti P66
DMR Reptoid
