if built with the proper tube thickness, the compliance is just right.

If built built with noodle thin tubing, it will feel like a noodle.

i would say that one shouldnt look at a Ti bar as a lightweight upgrade, but moreso one for compliance.

There is also Moots, Dean, Lynskey, Controltech. Problem is most are xc/road and long for trail bikes, although Moots and Dean look like they offer custom orders.

Moonmen is the only one I know that will do the shorty modern stem length.

Everyone you listed does 70mm+

Yeah, was thinking it might be possible to get a custom shorter length from either Moots or Dean.
This prompted me to look for other custom options;
Ti Cycles looks like they also do short stems on request.

Moots are beautiful stems and can do full custom.

Ti bars feel amazing - the Thomson ones I really like, but they're crazy expensive. I've not tried a Rust - like the numbers, but not the graphics, although it's a quick, cheap process to blast them and fix that.

I've seen a few Rust bits with custom stuff done by them, so if you ask really nicely they can probably do no/different graphics for you. Probably cost a bit more but still cheaper than the Thomson ones Wink

Kingdom's Ti bars are more subtle and insanely comfortable, as another option. Pretty much the only bar I'll run on an MTB now...
