Has a Mullet, made no sense to me. 29er is better for me.

I love 29ers, but my 120mm 29er already plays grab-ass with me in steep sections of trail. If I picked up a longer travel bike it would almost certainly be a mullet- they make sense for short people.

Personally, I think forbidden is one of the sexier mullet trail bikes I’ve seen.

I'm 5'7 I see no need for Mullets but maybe it's a matter of terrain.

On my local terrain it’s no issue, which is why I own a full 29. When I travel to places with some steeper chutes & drops with larger trail obstacles (stumps, logs, boulders) it becomes an issue.

I don’t travel to those places frequently enough to justify a second mullet bike or to switch to only a mullet, but if it becomes a more established thing down the road I could see making the switch.

I'm 6'1 riding a mullet bike, also have a full 29'er. The mullet definitely turns better and that bike has a 5mm longer chain stay and a higher bottom bracket than the full 29'er.

I'm a convert, it's not a tyre to ass clearance issue for me at all with my long legs, rather the cornering aspect. Each to their own, but I'm a fan.

I can’t wait to get more time on my mullet setup at full strength. Hopefully in the next few weeks as my body allows.

Sometimes I feel like I’m the only person that still rides a full 27.5 set up. Even my 5’2” wife rides a 29er lol

Out of my fleet of bikes the 2 I use most are full 27.5. I did think about get a 29er fork for my ebike but I got a killer deal on a 27.5 DT Swiss fork so went with that.

Not sure it is. Wolftooth use a '5 star' and this is a '6 star'. I'm interested too now since KA engineering rings are hard to come by.

I think I've found it. It's a 'Pass quest'.

Passquest I think. Can be found on AliX.
