The price tag for literally everything these days.

I don't think many mainstream bikes can boast a 5k frame only price, let alone 7000 for a gx build with performance suspension.
Frame-only prices are ridiculous. I once bought a bike where the frame only option cost almost as much as the whole bike. Those Yeti's are not what they used to be, ugly beer belly bikes. ugh!
