You just answered your own question. They are brand new and need time to break in. Be patient.

ahaha okay thanks, i get really paranoid because for the past few years i have been on boxxers and they never put enough oil in them.

If you are really worried you can pull it part and inspect the grease that the manufacturer has applied to the seals. It could well be nearly none. In this case add some good quality grease suitable for suspension work and it should feel a lot better.
