Difficult decision as I have used both & had to fix both frequently.
I ended up with the Reverb.

The reverb seems to be user serviceable to certain degree and if I remember correctly if anything goes wrong with the KS it needs to be sent in for a service since it is nitrogen charged... I could be wrong though, but that was the case for me with my KS 950r. I prefer something I can teardown, hence owning the Specialized Command post.

Mine lost all pressure and refused to extend. I tried the trick with an inflator needle with electric tape attached to my shock pump it worked but no chance of fixing it properly without sending it in.

Mine had a sort of similar issue with the cartridge. It wouldn't stay in position at all. When lowered it would come up a little and when extended it would drop up to an inch when I sat on it. I sent it back to the supplier, they fixed it and sent it back free of charge. No questions asked. Pretty good service I thought.

Mine was second hand so warranty service was not an option.

The Specialized Command dropper is probably the best in quality I've used so far.

Just like others -

- Lost tension & did not extend = sent it in for warranty
- Everytime I sat, it would sag an inch or two prior to dropping = sent it in for warranty

Warrantied and service was quick although most of my buddies ran into the same issues.
The real benefit for me at that point = mechanical & warranty process

Pro tip - click on the image and you can see the pic was taken with an iPhone 5s, probably doesn't work on mobile tho, but anyway, at least I answered your question

Another tip if you're feeling extra ambitious, click on the pic, then click the Desktop Version of the Website button. If you really feel like working your finger.

What was the issue with the KS? I have the KS LEV 125mm, so far so good.
