One of my favourite trails ever, Pleney Natural, leading to Piss Lizard track!

man im really tempted to try a pole bike. look so good.

I'm 5'4" and managed to wrangle an XS frame from Pole. So far I can tell you that I love it. I did find myself running wide in corners at first but once I got used to leaning it in harder it was just as good at cornering as my old bike.
It can still do huge jumps and hammers downhill like a dream Smile

Not a fan of your photography, but the Evo 140 looks good.

I was hoping to be the first in Australia to get one, haha... but other things came up that took financial priority!
Being 6'3 and not really digging the reach numbers or standover on most bikes, the Pole took my eye.

I think I'd like it in black though.

Updated meta. Tires work really well

I think black cranks and grips would look even better.

so currently looking for brakes for my next build. I was set on Code rsc's
but since they've been hard to find and I found a set of Hope tech 3 v4's
I'm considering taking them. Any reviews on the V4's. I'm really liking the
looks, but they do look really heavy. They include the floating rotors,
so additional cash for rotors won't be an issue. only
other issue is ocd, because my bike is a Sram build. but that's a me
problem. What would you guys do. I had Guide ultimate, but when it
comes to steep shit, they sometimes are a bit under powered imo,
but other than that, absolutely loved them. V4's will be 50 bucks more
with rotors.
Which ones would you guys take.

Magura MT5 calipers and Shimano Zee or Saint levers.

Had a really bad experience with magura and not risking that again.

Well you really can't go wrong with Hope. Power, modulation, serviceability, customisation options, basically best of the best.
Their rotors are also top notch, extremely long-life without warping/bending or strange sounds.

What happened?
I know of one guy who lost his front brake pads once, as they were too worn down..
But using MT7 pads will eliminate that problem.

A lot of the first gen mt7s had issues with them, and i was one of the people that got them. I also dont really like the fact that theyre plastic. Like i see how many people love them all, but most people that have been down a horrible route, don't tend to try it again. They also had less power then the guide r brakes on my first dj. my guess is that they were leaking oil. Could never get them to props work and had to constatly bleed them.

Running the new Code R brakes, didn't have any problems ordering them from Bike discount. Very powerful!
