Here's my 2013 Rocky Mountain Trailhead 29. I bought it back in 2014, but an injury kept me from fully getting into mountain biking. Now that I'm back at it, I'm starting to have a blast. Specs can be found here.

It's all stock but I'm considering swapping out the triple up front for a 2x or 1x setup. Any thoughts?

Low cost option with keeping your current 3x9 hardware is to mount a Sunrace 11-40 9sp cassette w/extender for easier climbing, then either remove the large chainring and set the front derailleur limits to stop at the 32t chainring for 2x or go 1x and remove the large and small chainring and front derailleur to drop some weight. Otherwise if you find a Deore or better 1x groupset for cheap, do it.

Awesome, I'll take a look around. Thanks!

Not really sure how asking you to be more polite is childish but ok.

You also implied that the wheels weren’t good enough without saying anything remotely positive. It’s not hard to be a decent human being, try a little harder.

Better damper, brakes and a custom cockpit are a better upgrades than a blingy wheelset. Sweet bike.

okay, but you'll happily continue to roast me in another forum for accidendtly posting my own bike and "not reading the rules of a forum". if you read theese forum rules it said be prepared for positive and negative or neutral comments

I'd say you under estimate the impact of a good wheel upgrade!
