My 2018 Commencal Meta AM 4.2

This bike is stock other than:
Fox 36 Grip 2
Codes
Renthal cockpit
Stamp 7 pedals

18 May 2015

surely a wheel upgrade is next?

Right now it’s not on my list of purchases. I just ordered a new MagNeg air can for the super deluxe But other than that there’s nothing else I’m looking at.

This thing rolls pretty good so I’ll keep the wheelset as is until I break one or can find a set of carbon rims for free or something lol

Why the megneg? Is the bike not supple enough off the top?

I blow through my travel really quickly. I weigh about 190lbs kitted out and have my shock set to 225 psi and two bands installed. I bottom the son of a bitch out all the time. I was wanting to check out a DHX2 but they're big money so I ordered the MegNeg to see what that's all about.

Have you ever used gx? Ive never had or heard of people having that issue. Ive got an x01 derailleur which is no different besides materials used and I rarely have to tune it, much less so than ny xt derailleur I had.

This is incorrect - GX uses a completely different main bolt config than higher levels.

Apologies on the dredge, I'm just catching up.

No upgrade on a bike makes a bigger difference than going from typical stock wheels to a good wheelset.
Any recommendation for something in the 45mm inner diameter range (for 27.5 2.8's) ??
