If you're doing park, 24 rules to my mind. You can ride dirt jumps on a 20", so you'll still be fine.

+1 for 24"
reason one being that that's what I got lol I quite like the 'in between' size, but that's just me
2nd would be that probably it'll feel more familiar than going straight to 26"
as for parts and prices... in this corner of the planet it's not really difficult to get stuff - admittedly you're gonna have a bigger palette to choose from if you go with 26", though
that said, I miss my cap... it's in a different country now, only getting ridden for like 2 weeks a year, whenever I can visit Frown

Thanks for the feedback. I'm leaning more towards a 24. Is I it much harder to chuck a 26 round a park? As from a dirt perspective it would be even smoother with a 26

To my mind, you can learn to treat a twitchy bike delicately, but getting a slow bike to respond quickly is harder. I've never had an issue getting 24" parts. Rims are about the only difference, and BMX cruisers are still around, both for racing and now freestyle. Even S&M are making 24" tyres now.

Hi,

Does anyone by any chance have the 2009/10 brake mounts for the capital frame?

Let me know if you do and how much you want

Cheers

I was once in this position.

Ended up just buying the new capital frame at the time (2014)

I rang hotlines who are the uk supplier and they had none.

I sold my 2009 bike to someone who welded some nuts to the frame and then threaded in some regular brake mounts. Was pretty neat to be fair.

Same tires i'm running, seem to be the best bang for buck for 24 currently.
