I don't even think BMX hooks are 100+ PSI. So if I'm right that rules them out.

the maxxis hookwork, ringworms, m-treds, and most others are 110psi even bmx.

O+

wanna know how strong they are?

i was taking my ringworms off my old bike o put on my bike i ride. deflated it, and when i was using my tire tool, one of the tools just snapped in half. so i guess its staying on

my friend runs hookworms, he cased going up a 5 set, broke a spoke but no puncture to the tire.

Forget about the rating. I rode my Holy Roller and my IRC Dirt tire at 100 psi for the longest time and both are rated at 60. It didn't cause any problems for me.

i've seen some in person at my LBS and they look pretty flimsy, im sure the tread is okay but they are about as thick as kenda kontacts which is pretty thin.

well if you havent tried maxxis m-treads, they hook up pretty well in dirt and last really long and are great for street and park, its a great all around tire, run an m-tread up front and any tire of your choice for the bakc, and im with whoever keeps reccomending animal tires, fricken bomb proof, so far for like the 3 months ive had the glh-front and the asm- rear ive never had a flat ever and ive rode over glass and things that would kill normal tires

The Maxdaddy is for dirt and BMX racing and i'm leaning more towards street and park.

And besides the maxdaddy only goes to 40 psi
