Haha thanks for the comments guys, I understand what Rigaud is saying, this is definitly not for everyone.

But yes I have already taken into account the Difference in caliper to rotor length, its about 1 3/8" difference which is fairly significant.

I am going to be running a 140mm adapter with a 160mm rotor and a few less washers than the avid standard.

Hey, So I finally got the paint dialed in and I also managed to get down to Cove Bikes and get some replacement decals for the frame! The whole process came together amazing!

My Fox Rp2 Rear shock arrived today as well!

I am going to be beadblasing the linkage plates aswell as my rims and a few other parts to have a nice red/silver color scheme!

Let me know what you guys think and if theres any other cool changes to the frame you think would be good.

I think he addressed that issue at the beginning of the thread...

can you weld at all? if so, perhaps cut out a slot and mount an integrated seatpost clamp? would look pretty trick. also if you can, fully cutout the cnc-ed stuff in the linkage, would save alot of weight and look awesome.

yeah thats a cool idea dude, like on the linkage plates? Or even do a cool design with holes with a drill or something.
But how much would that weaken it haha.

And I wish I had access to a welder!

i was gonna say just drill a few holes in between the cove letters, then use a file to make spaces. leave most of the strength, but lose alot of weight at the same time. and im sure you could find a local fab. shop that would braze it on for cheap.
