You need a large my friend. I am 6 2 and a large even felt small...
Damn, its hard to pass it up. I still might go sit on it and see how it feels but it is very depressing that this bike probably wont fit...

This seems like a good deal. May go with the 450 instead.

alright guys,

I know this has been asked before but I would like your advice. I'm set on getting a TR250, but the problem is this isn't my only mountain bike so I cant really shell out the cash for a new one. I also live in an area where there isn't a huge used selection. after weeks of searching I came upon a great 2012 tr250 in a medium frame. It is priced very nicely and I would love to buy it. However, I am 6', maybe 5'11.5 in my riding shoes lol, I like flowy downhill trails with lots of berms and jumps mainly. Will this frame work for me or should I just not get the bike? I'm going to go check it out today and see how it feels but I've never owned a downhill specific bike before so I'm not really sure if I would know if I like it or not.

Hi you definitely need large man ,this medium will be so small for you .TR250 frames are made a bit smaller than other companies frames,I am 5'8 and Large TR250 suits me well.

Don't do it. So beat. Basically extinct servicing parts for that fork. Shit shock. Bad deal.

Try This, and deal with the shipping. You best bet is to buy from canada as the dollar is super low. Will be a bit cheaper for you.

Yea looks like a great bike. I've never bought a used bike online before. Obviosuly there is some protection with PayPal but what is your general experience with this? I'm really just worried about getting a bad bike and being out a Lot of money.

I've talked to the guy.bike seems legit. I can get it for 2k with shipping from Canada. Through PayPal I can have buyers protection. Anyone want to provide insight on this before I drop a bunch of money?

I'm 6'2" and I got a medium 250. Mistake. So cramped.

As for that 450, it looks in really good shape and for the money it's a damned good deal, and from the guys profile he's sold a lot of stuff before. Paying with paypal is ideal.

Yea I am so stoked for this bike. Can't wait to try it out. I'm looking forward to the 888. Really a fox guy but have heard really good things about them

The small bump is like no other, noticeable reduction in arm pump. They bottom out easier than a 40 though, but if you don't mind that the trade off is worth it imo. And the Elka is supposed to me great too.

Hi i got myself a tr250 a couple days ago. It was set at 160mm it has a ti spring on her not sure on the spring rate. I went for a on the 160mm setting and the shock felt nice, it was smooth and plush on top and when I start to push hard on the shock it would firm up a touch which I like.. But now iv change it to 180mm the shock seems to have gone soft right the way though, I was just wondering if anybody changed the shock setting and went more on compression or ran a stiffer spring.. I'm 11stone and the bike will only be used for dh/freeride..

Cheers

I'm 6'1" and have a medium. Yeah, it does feel small, but if your goal isn't necessary speed, its so much fun to throw around on jumps and stuff

O+

Yes, changing from 160 to 180 changes the leverage ratio on the shock a little, I found that I needed to go up 50# on the spring between the two settings to get the same feeling.
