Very nice mate...

Thank you. Turned out to be better than I expected really. Only thing is, I used a 8.75x2.75 (222) shock instead of 8.5 because that is what I had in hand. So, anyone knows is it safe to use it like this or should I change the shock to 8.5?

I tried an X2 for 2 days, but the old coil DHX felt better. I am planning to get a DBCoil IL.

You can find the base tune in Cane Creek website (then you can adjust it in time according to your weight and style):

Im putting an 8.75x2.75 shock on this Sunday.... It'll RAISE THE BOTTOM BRACKET (yay!!!) as well as steepened the head angle a tick, and bump the travel up a touch.... Ill put it in 160 mode since the stroke is longer....

Thanks man Wink
Maybe i'm going to upgrade the fork in summer.... looking for something lighter to cut the weight out.... i was thinking about Marzocchi 380 titanium or Bos Idylle Air (both are about 650gr less than mine)....
Any suggestions for other upgrades?

O+

I've never ridden either of the forks you mentionned, but if you want to save weight a boxxer world cup is where it's at! A fox 40 float is a little heavier than the boxxer I beleive. Sorry I can't comment on the Bos or the Marzocchi.

Have you tried CCDB air?

Can you give some detail using vivid air?

I haven't ridden a CCDB air on any bike before. I also haven't gotten out for proper ride after switching to the vivid (feels good around the neighborhood), ill report back after memorial day where ill break it in at angle fire.
