Just checking about the SLX range of gears and brakes from 2010

I have been offered a great deal on the shadow rear mech and shifter also the SLX M665 brakes.
I have been told they are a step down from Saint.

So this would mean they are better than XT would these serve me well on a DH bike?

with 225mm front rotor and 203mm rotor on the rear

Its all good stuff, the Saint bits may be burlier and possibly a bit better, but my SLX brakes and mech have stood up to a couple of weeks in the alps this summer (and last) and it is all 2010 vintage ie it had been used for over year first on uk trails.
I don't plan on changing my SLX stuff for a while yet.
