3 cross spoke set up?

I've just started lasing my wheel to find the hub has two different lase patterns (3 and 2 cross on either side) the flange is alot bigger on the non drive side which won't allow the spokes to do a 3 cross pattern. looking at the spokes as a complete wheel they look spot on. Has anyone had this problem before and is what I'm soon correct?

you can use different cross pattern for each side of the wheel and it will be ok. but the size of the flange shouldn't prevent you from doing a 3 cross, maybe you need to use shorter spokes

Hey cheers for the reply, I've don it now with 3 and 2 cross pattern. The spokes run Straight to each other on either side but if I done them both 3 cross they would have been odd (as in not pararel) so proper chuffed with my first build haha.
