Absolute Black Oval Ring 30T

Looks like I need to downsize for the weight savings! Seriously have been considering the 28t, though.

In very far advance of building a new MTB I have ordered purple Tune KillHill/ClimbHill hubs and Reserve 30 rims. Probably going to go with rainbow Pillar P14 spokes because why the f*ck not.

340 g hub set and 146 g extra spoke mass, versus 1.5 mm spokes. Confused

I'm not actually taking the extra weight of the spokes into account. Though if they made butted rainbow Pillar spokes that weren't bladed I would probably run them.

I really think those clash.

Better get these also to keep the oil slick game rolling

My opinion of oil slick is that less is more. A few subtle cues here and there can work really well but going full oil slick usually looks terrible.

Seraph is right here. But you have to lean into the 80's look full stop with that.

I thought Tune was cool until I had to deal with their warranty department... Never again.
