Kind of middle of the road pricewise. Be interesting to see it. Did they post a weight?

Only available in 29 x 2.5, it seems?

Yea but you can also buy an exo asse for roughly the same weight. Id doubt trek has somehow made a dh tyre weighting the same as trail

It's a pretty blatant copy, but this kind of copying goes on all the time and there don't seem to be many examples of companies suing for copied tire designs

Everyone has a minion copy at this point and nothing seems to come of it

Are they made by the same parent company? Could just be a rehotpatched tire

They're not even that similar. Assegai is three, two, three, two. Bontrager is three, two, two, three. Assegai has tighter knobs. Sideknobs are differently shaped with different siping.

Y'all do realize there's only so many ways to lay rubber on a casing, right?

I would put stars and flames as treads on my tires. Cuz I choose to be different

I mean that's only one step away from when Marzocchi released some tyres with Marzocchi Ms for tread blocks.

Ha exactly.
Never tried those, I gather they were no good?

I doubt it made a lick of difference. The exact shape.
Knobs are knobs. Rubber is rubber.

Who was the name of that manufacture who was putting like camo and other pattern on tires like 10+ years back?
