I found the totem sticky compared to the 36 of the same vintage. Was a great fork, but I feel we get nostalgia goggles on them at times. Better than the travis at least.

Thank you. I had a Totem and didn’t love it.
air or coil?

IIRC coil was the reason people loved them. Air was sticky and kinda crappy.

Yeah, I thought they stopped being compatible at some point as well but everything I'm finding online says 2018+ and I'm fairly sure it's wrong but can't find confirmation.

@nubbs Will now. Just DM him. https://www.pinkbike.com/u/nubbs/

820-02-536-kit for BBLB's 36 2020 to run 160mm.. tons in stock it appears.

2021 model year and newer 36 use new air shaft assembly design.
Due to new CSU having different tube lengths, bigger negative air volume. Dat new 2021+ 36 is lovely fasho tho
Nice, thanks nubbs!

My 55 EVO Ti RC3 was probably my favorite fork of all time. If only the 1-1/8 Aluminum Steerer didn't flex like crazy.

Coolest name by far also

You mean like the Marzocchi Z1?

I beat the shit out of my Z1 coil on my SJ Evo and liked it.. I did break a crown on that fork, but it's had well over 200k' of descending in a few months of use and it felt really good for the price point.

Like the Z1 but with a Grip2.

I'm sure shops love not having to stock any extra springs anymore.

Eh, we stock a bunch of rear shock springs so it wouldn't be a big stretch for us. Also we have a ton of springs for the Future Shock.

Would love to ride that if the stock z1 coil wasn't more expensive than lyrik ultimate in europe

Z1 coil with grip2 is great. Heavier than a 38 though. It was a fun setup on the spire for a bit!

theres all kinds of goodies at matts bench, just make sure to ask first haha. yall would be one of the few shops that would have no problem stocking springs and random suspension bits.

Whats everybody's favourite dropper post these days? Do the 9point 8 dropper still suck?

AXS. Always AXS.

I did like my 9.8 dropper though.
