In some training blocks, but relatively rarely.

Protein immediately after the ride is key.
Especially if you're riding the next day.

If you want to save some money,
Buy some protein cereal, nuts and chocolate chips.
I carry that combo in a ziploc for post ride.

It's a little dry but that's what the beer is for.

Only 8g of protein per serving though? Seems kinda low compared to others.

Over been using Built bars for a while now and like them.

No protein powder here...

Smoke tons of weed and drink chocolate milk apré bike style. Welches gummies for snacks on the bike. Water filter helps keep cotton mouth at bay when riding for long periods.

Brooooo the welch’s are the best bike snack. I buy 40 packs of them at safeway for 9 bucks.
Also snickers bars are great, lots of sugar and a little protein. “bike snacks” get so expensive at a certain point.

SIS Rego is the best recovery drink if you're serious about recovery... skratch recovery is really lacking for recovery from a hard ride.
