What i understand was the reason behind sticking with the spider is THM said it's allot lighter and stiffer than any DM chainring you can get these days on the market.

Was wondering that myself. I was just at the bike park yesterday and it seemed like most people were wearing pants. I’m always in shorts. Pants are just too uncomfortable and restrictive for me.
