Still 13lbs lighter than my last SJ. lol

43lb SJ?????? Eek Eek Eek Eek Eek

SJ Evo alloy..

41.9 if I remember correctly. Lol

Z1 coil
Bomber CR
DH wheels and tires with Cushcore
Diety bar and stem
Zee cranks and brakes

Then I carried a tube/pump/c02/plug kit on the bike

It was a park only bike.. It did over 250k of descending and it climbed less than 250ft.. Litterally the bar was a 25ft vertical climb and I went up there 8 or 9 times.. I litterally never climbed it on dirt.. Lol

those previous gen Evos were such pigs, even before that hefty build spec

If it’s a dedicated park bike, who cares about the weight? Some do I guess..

If it's over 40lbs that better be an actual DH bike for me.

I think my Sunday World Cup was about 39 lbs back in the day.

Those bikes were so ahead of their time... really tragic how badly IH got wrecked from a business perspective.

Everything but the tiny pivot hardware!

A shop not to far from me used to import Iron Horse into the UK, the rumour was they had a shipping container full of pivot hardware and rear triangles.

That's actually one of the reasons I never did a restomod on a Sunday like I did on my M1/M3/M9. Every one had absolutely clapped pivot hardware and I didn't feel like making custom stuff.

Just needed titanium hardware and would have solved the issue.

That would have done it..

Really it speaks to my laziness. I have a lathe sitting in my shop, lol

This is so weird. So BTI just got some Blackspire Badger carbon cranks in stock, with a whopping $693 MSRP, but if you go on Blackspire's site, they're on sale for $187... which is $160 below cost...
They just look like knockoff SRAM cranks with a 30mm spindle.
