Bearing comes loose inchainstay

Exactly! Little tug (in/out) on the chainstay near the pivot to check for play. Tighting the pivot or axle makes no difference. Almost feels like it’s missing a spacer.

hey I have the same problem with a 2016 9.9, did you find a solution other than buying a whole new rear triangle?

Trek took care of mine by replacing the frame.

Hi everyone. The rocker link on my 2015 Session 88 just exploded. Broke the shock too. Any one had a similar problem? Does anybody know the part number?

My new ride! A custom build on a 19' brand new session carbon frame. The seatpost has since been cut to the correct size.

can someone measure the actual length of their rear axle

Can anyone help I’ve got a session 8 2019 & want to change my rear shock from a Fox van coil to a Fox float x2 air shock ? The eye to eye length is 225 mm, on fox sites & other suspension site they don’t seem to sell a Fox float x2 in that size ? I’ve found one online off of a session 29 frame does anyone know if that will fit my session 8 ? My session 8 is 27.5 & the bottom shock mounting points are different on the 29 frame & session 8 , the 8 is mounted to the rear arm & the 29 is mounted to the frame. The eye to eye lengths are both the same 225mm so any help would be grateful.

The carbon frames use a 225 x 70(29) and 225 x 75 (27.5) trunnion mount shock. Does the 8 also use a trunnion mount shock?

I’m not sure if I’m honest I think I might of worked it out looking online I’ve found my fox van rear shock size is 8.75x2.75 in imperial so I’m guessing the fox float x2 in that size that
should work ?
