Hi there .I was thinking to buy a Session Frame C29. I saw it was out in 2018 . Did they upgrade the frame since 2018?

And more important anyone know if they are gonna make a new frame? I don t want to buy the frame and the next year will be obsolete.

Thank you

My Trek Session! Originally Ran it with a Boxxer and full DH Spec but recently changed it to a 180mm fork and set it up to be more Enduro (Dropper post, Larger cassette) bit of a compromise but still rides really nice and great for big jumps!

Tastey components, Hope E4 brakes, Full shimano saint Drive chain etc. tup [/Quote

Superb looking bike. I've always wonder what a Enduro and DH rig would look like. What size of cassette are you running?

looks like a 36t top. Based off the saint won't do much more then that

Does anyone know what brake adaptor I need for a 2020 trek session 9.9 to mount a 202mm rotor to hope v4's?

Frame is 180mm postmount, so I would say +23mm postmount to postmount

Ok ... wheel spacing question ... Boxxer owners on sessions.

First, rear wheel spacing on the 29 or 27.5, it’s just 12x157 ... there is no silly BOOST version that I need to be looking out for, correct? Or is that already boosted?

Second, front wheel ... are the 27.5 and 29 boxxers the same spacing FOR THE BRAKES? Both are 20x110 BOOST ... if I’m reading everything correctly.

My thought is I want to do a mullet session using a 27.5 frame, but I’m not sure I can get mismatched wheels in time so I was potentially going to get a 29” boxxer and run a 27.5 wheel in it (making some little tweaks in height to compensate for the inch taller front end. Has anyone besides the pros played with this ... I tried to hit up Reece but he hasn’t replied yet :-p

Thanks in advance for your help!

Rear is 157 x 12mm correct, boxxer 2019 and newer( grey crownS) are boost 110 x 20mm on both 27.5 and 29

My session project, 2019 large frame 27.5, oping to get it under 12,5kg with grips and a few parts swapped, chainring etc.

Anyone gone lighter?
