So whats the word on "current" Chain devices? I know lots of you blokes are running without and are relying soley on the NW rings and clutch derailleurs to keep things rolling.

The current LG1 looks a little spindly where the roller attaches and I'm worried this would find its way into a low earth orbit if it where to ever contact a rock.

The G4 looks identical to the G3 which I had average luck with

The black spire der guide worked well on my M9 but it was loud as f*ck and really drove me to ride my spartan more.

Who is running what and how is it holding up?

I have done 360's on both my Glory and spartan. Both times I spun them off a bank type thing going mach-schnell. I've never spun either bike over anything with a gap though.

Bike Porn

My new G4 chain device, has a softer rubber inner layer for silence compared to the G3.

Woah props dude. Off. A f*cking bank?! I feel I'd need more airtime to get that thing around haha

G4 has rubber on the inside of the upper guide to quiet things down

CSixx 150gm?

My Grippe with teh G3 was frequent breakage of the "Bash" portion resulting in lots of replacement parts being bought and scattered across my facorite trails.
I LOVED the two first gen LG1+ guides I have less confidence in the new one.
I Want the bottom roller any of the AMg type guides are out.

I Really think my options are as follows:
*Run the LG1 that comes with the parts kit I'm getting and deal with the inevitable failure.
*Get another Der guide and deal with it being loud as f*ck
*Get the MRP and make sure I never smash the guard on it.

Really loosing my head on what to do for the rear hub right now. Going to be ordering a parts kit for a 2016 wilson XP on clearout from devinci. The rear hub for the wilson is a 150 formula, the fuzz requires a 157 hub, I CANNOT find adapters for a formula anywhere. No 135 to 142 NOTHING. and AI do not want to immediately buy new wheels for it.

Have you thought about the Shimano SMCD? It has a quarter bash and has a bottom slider with rubber to keep things quiet. I've had two on my bikes and they haven't failed me yet.

find a used LG1+ on teh buy/sell? they were the bizzo and my fave for ages. but my shop doesn't deal with the local E13 dealer so i switched to MRP
if my information is correct, MRP have made the skid a smidge softer so it's not as brittle for the G4 guides
i've never been a fan of blackspire guides... i'd take a boxguide over a DERConfused

as for the hub: you won't find endcaps... formula exist purely as an OEM hub manufacturer (and are not tied to the italian brake/suspension maker) i'd wager that it'll be a 150mm version of the formula hub Giant and spesh use for their 12x142 bikes, they have an adjuster cone and locknut on the NDS
my thought would be find a rekt rear wheel out of an enduro/reign/trance that isn't BooSt and pillage it's caps

I have a dead 142 hub as described. However I think the Hibbs in getting use a threaded cap on the drive side and a push fit on the non drive. I have a sneaking suspicion that the end caps from a salsa fat conversion will fit
