Best DH rim?? Not a full wheel, just looking for recommendations, based on experience, for good, strong 27.5 downhill rimes to build up with some hubs I already have.

THANKS!

If weight isn't a concern, look at the DT Swiss FR560 rims. Available in all 3 wheel sizes.

My raceface atlas rims seem indestructible. No dents and hardly goes out of true after a full season. I seem to dent DT Swiss easily.

So I acquired a 2011 888, it has the older style 2 bolt dm stem top crown. Can you run a newer style crown that has the typical DM stem mounting?
TIA

What pound of rear coil is good for DH and jumps. Like 500 Ibs or maybe more I don't know.

Depends on how heavy you are

A DH setup is much different than a jump setup. Comparing bikes from WC racing to the same bikes ridden at FEST and Rampage, setups are at two ends of the spectrum.

2012 they went to the boxxer DM stem setup, they do exist just a case of finding one.

Depends on the frame. You could be 500 on one frame then 350 on another.
