Southeast Michigan: My new job brought me to the Livonia area, just west of Detroit. I haven't ever lived away from either Duluth/ Northern MN or the UP, both of which have, in my opinion, the best riding in the midwest. So.. I'm outta place and am looking for cool people that aren't afraid to share their secret digs. Most websites have beginner/intermediate trails, and I'm looking for something a little more.. .. downhill or freeride. I'd even be happy to just exercise the hardtail on some good fast CC, but I'd rather be on the Kona Six behind my 888. I know it's a long shot looking for hills around here, so some daytrips are okay. I can build, and would be more than happy to dream up some nasties if you know the land. Tell me your secrets.

Well Bloomer Park in Rochester offers some pretty fun "downhills", but it is limited to 3 poorly marked runs.
