Am I right in thinking the wheelbase is only 1290?

Even with the (failed) glamour shots, this thing looks like what Pikachu would ride only on Halloween night. Is there a thread for the fugliest enduro hardtail of the year?

It might be an interesting, different ride experience; it for sure stands out of the crowd, but sexy? Certainly not.

would shred. the reach makes it more gates than bill and a stem shorter than a britney spears marriage.

i'd like to see more of that stem, but i guess it's a split handlebar , so the eTT should come around 660 mm..?

I bet it would look way less odd if the seat wasn't slammed

And if the handlebars weren’t from 1993

Funnily enough that was what I thought too!

To be fair the frames got some nice touches but the bars and 3ft of spacers don’t do it for me aesthetically. Plus the dimensions with the huuuuuggggggge front end and short arse look odd. I’m sure it rides great for the owner though.

I have done that with several bikes.
I own all steel HT's now, including a Cotic FlareMax FS.

And if the headtube was redesigned to slam down the stem

And remove that awful looking and thick carbon stem spacer

And if the internal cable routing was more aesthetically looking. Those look like holes drilled by a 5-year old

And that frame color looks repugnant, in my eyes - it makes me think of cheap lavender perfume!

And if they learn how to take better marketing shots from the drivetrain side

The welds look nice and clean but the whole thing needs to go back to the drawing board before showtime.

I took these photos of a colleague's Rootdown build, thought some of the folks on here would appreciate it. I'd say he nailed the colour scheme and the spec is about 90% where I'd want it (personally).

Spec highlights include:
Hope tech e4 brakes with shimano MT800 rotors
handbuilt wheels, XT hubs on WTB KOM rims, silver spokes
full XT drivetrain
cane creek eewings ti cranks
oneup carbon bars and stem
pike ultimate
silver thompson seat clamp to tie it all together

Already been posted. Got a bit of hate with the Garmin, bottle and saddle bag on. Nice build but photos would look loads better without the ‘extras’
