Hello Chromag Rootdown owners: Did you find the Pf BB troublesome? I have had PF bb on alu frames and they were so soi..but maybe the steel shell coupled with the plastic bb is less prone to creaking than alu ones? Thank you
Pressfit bikes have gotten alot better. Like hey, headsets seem to work. I have warmed to the idea and none of the pressfit bikes I own ever creak. Sure Threaded has worked great and I do preffer it, but brands have started building frames bottom brackets better.... Thank god
Pressfit is cheaper for the manufacturers and frame builders. Headsets have completely different loads on them. How would you feel about press fit lug nuts on your car??
brands have also started building pressfit to bsa adaptors.
just sayin'.
Those have existed since Sam hill was riding for specialized... lol

I thought wheel bearings on car hub assemblies are pressed in too!
Wheel bearings in cars and your headset bearings are not subjected to the amounts of mud, sand, organics and water as your bottom bracket is though. Unless you are an avid 4x4 person that is.
Wheel bearing replacements in cars are pretty infrequent, where a BB replacement in your mountain bike is more just a matter of time.
This Naked bike is awesome. I think the guys at Naked win the prize with the most original and jazzy paint jobs this year. We must admit that really go out of their way.
Now, they obviously went through a lot of trouble with the details - they even custom painted the insides of the eeWings while leaving intact the outer parts. Now, is it me who just sees these things — why not match the dropper seatpost with the fork, i.e., both Kashima? It’s like choosing different rim manufacturers/designs for front and rear. Things look so close to perfect but that aesthetic oversight, for some reason, drives me nuts.
You could argue the dropper (which matches the lowers and bar) was a purposeful decision so as to not go over the top.
I quite like (the concept of the build) it but it's borderline too much disco (for me) as it is, sometimes less is more.
