Cool, was wondering what seatpost. So guess I can go this route. Want to make my cranks silver as well.

and 1/8th of a point for the cranks not being inline with the chainstay

I don't know I think having them sit perfectly horizontal is better than offset to align with chainstay

I used to think that, when chainstays used to be horizontal!

Ride them both, no point in us choosing one or the other here

.. but, as you asked Switch9er , coz it’s damn near perfect lol

wait, why does this look so good despite the white tires?

is that even legal?

edit: the saddle and the cushcore decals ruin it safely.

Decals look bad even on refrigerator doors, not to mention bikes...

Indeed! this should be a crime against good taste! But, it looks so good!

I'm going to sit in a quiet corner now and try and figure out what is wrong with me! Confused

I really like the detail of the seatpost. I wonder if I could sand mine so it'd look like like that. Concerned about removing the anodising though..

i've done that and, after about a year of use, do not recommend sanding and polishing your seatpost. its smoother surface generates less grip in the seat tube, so the seatpost keeps on slowly slipping in, or you tighten the collar to a degree where the seatpost might get stuck. also, the saddle rotates way easier.

i'd rather use a 30.9 mm seatpost in a 31.6 mm frame, and polish only the shim.

Or polish just the visible parts, and leave the part in the frame untouched? But then I would also want the upper part polished, and that surely has to be a bad idea..

Aye, that was my idea, polish just the bit outside the frame.
But, on a second thought, looks like too much effort for a marginal gain, and too many things could go very wrong.
I may leave it as a winter project...
